National Football Museum
by Bedrock Tiles on 14 October 2012
The National Football museum is pleased to have opened
their doors recently after a complete refurbishment. The building
was prepared and opened ahead of the Olympics this year, couple
with the need for modernisation.
The fit out programme for the cafeteria and servery
area was an intensive programme, as the closed period for the
museum would affect the normal day to day business needed.
Northamptonshire based ABDA and WBS Construction took on the
challenge and delivered in the time set out.
This refurbishment at the National Football Museum in
Manchester has been carefully designed to bring stylish design to
the museum by lifting the communal area into a vibrant and
interesting place to meet and socialise. We supplied
beautiful Chic
Stripsinto the project; the size was 300x100
in super glossy black tiles. Using high gloss black wall tiles
behind the servery area really lifts the area and gives great
reflectivity of light to brighten a traditionally tricky type of
area to get good light into, without the reflectivity being too
overpowering.
